Mock Draft Monday! 6/22

It’s Mock Draft Monday! This week I drafted from the 2/3 spot, yet again in 12 team PPR.⠀

2ND PICK DRAFT – I started off with Saquon here which I think is a great pick. Then the draft kinda fell in such a way where I went with a near 0-rb strategy. I took 3 straight receivers from rounds 2-4 and was still able to land Singletary as my RB2. In the 6th I took Ke’Shawn Vaughn, keeping in style with the 0-rb method. In the 7th, the wheels fell off of my strategy as the best RB available for that pick was Tarik Cohen, so I grabbed Will Fuller instead. I then took Zack Moss who fell just a few picks to me. The rest of the draft was high upside players, although I got pretty lucky landing Hurst in the 10th, which might seem early but in that situation I had to reach a little. I also took Gesicki in the 11th because I feel like one of them is bound to break out and unless you have a Kelce/Kittle I recommend grabbing a backup TE. ⠀

3RD PICK – Straight off the bat I got lucky with Saquon falling to me at 3. Right now there’s about a 50/50 shot that Saquon falls to 3, and I feel like there’s a clear tier break between him and Zeke. I also don’t want to take a receiver that early at all. Kittle fell to me in the 3rd, and I could’ve taken Allen Robinson again but passing up on Kittle is hard to do. I was pretty surprised that AJ Brown lasted until the 5th, especially considering that the next best receiver was DJ Chark. Overall, I went a little too Eagles heavy on the bench taking both Reagor and DJax after I grabbed Diontae Johnson in the 8th. I took Burrow with my last bench pick just because he’s a high upside backup with a different bye week then Josh Allen.
